Introduction: We are a small family owned company that treat every job as its our own home. I am a general contractor that works with a small crew depending on job size, and I am on every job site as my employees are on. I am not the salesman type that sells a job and walks away after a contract is signed. I work side by side with my crew members, and stand in as the lead carpenter/project manager. We are up to date on many new products and materials. We go to many seminars on these products to stay up to date. I purchased a home in the West Park neighborhood of Cleveland. The house and garage were condemned and scheduled to be torn down by the city. The house was a detriment to this beautiful neighborhood. Mike and his crew at MK Design Build redesigned and rebuilt the entire home. They had to replace all of the plumbing, wiring, interior walls, roof, front porch, back porch, doors, windows, and refinish the hardwood floors. MK Design Build finished this house ahead of schedule and under budget. Now this is the best looking house on the street. When the crew at MK design build refinished the house it looked and smelled brand-new. Sadly, the garage was too far gone to rebuild so Mike and his crew demolished it and hauled every piece of it away. The next project I have planned is to have MK Design Build rebuild the garage for me and we're going to turn it into a man cave! Can't wait, super job Mike.

Mike at MK Design Build completely redesigned our kitchen with granite countertops, cherry custom cabinets, 18 inch ceramic tile floor and stainless appliances. He created a modern open concept by removing an indoor wall and adding a 4 seat bar. We are extremely happy and very impressed with his quality of work.

All jobs are different. We have hourly rates for small handyman repairs, and can write detailed contracts for large projects. There are many factors that go into estimating a project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We constantly go to seminars and trade shows to keep up to date on application methods to the newest products out.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have worked for my fathers construction company since a very young age, and decided to go to trade school once I was old enough.
