Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. It is always a good idea to go to their location if they have one. Then you get an idea of the level of commitment they have to doing work for you. Also, you gain a sense of confidence in who you leave with your computer.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would be most concerned with the level of expertise the technician shows while in my home. We believe that customer service is so important. Being in people's homes and having their computers is very intimate. People don't want total strangers to have that much exposure unless they imbue confidence, kindness, and competency in their field.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. I think it is super important to know how much something costs before you commit to getting the work done. Granted, all situations cannot be predicted, but, if we came to your home and did a diagnostic for $50 then we told you that the cost of the job was an additional $75 regardless of how long it takes, you should be made comfortable knowing this company is willing to give back. We may have to finish the work in the shop, but you have been quoted and the price will not change. If the rate is open ended, you will never call us again. We believe in keeping our customers.
