- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When requesting an estimate from a commercial printer, make sure you are receiving an apple to apples quote. Many times the quotes are not equal. This can be due to paper, colors, quantity, equipment, or type of printer they are. There are commercial printers, quick printers, brokers, large format printers, copy centers, etc. Not everyone does everything in house. For example a Kinko's sends there commercial work out to commercial printers. The communication from the customer, to the clerk at the desk, and then finally to the actual printer can get confused. After waiting three days for an estimate, you will either notice that the estimate is wrong, and have to wait three more days, or purchase the product from them and find out when you receive the finished product.
