Michelle Star Yoga offers unique setting and classes. Yoga classes are offered by a 41-year practitioner of yoga and yoga therapy! Our yoga classes feature the healing music of Solfeggio frequencies that raise DNA vibration.
We also offer yoga for children and special needs children. We have Zumba led by a professional dancer / choreographer that performs as a Radio City Rockette during Christmas season. We have awesome massage and cranial-sacral, Reiki attunements and treatments, Tarot, Angel and Crystal Ally card readings.
Our students love our studios which have a wall of windows skirted by the deck where we hold class outdoors and all overlooks a wetlands pond and nature preserve. We do a "critter check" every class to connect with nature - deer, wild turkeys, frogs, snapping turtle, red-headed woodpeckers, green back heron - all bringing their own music to our practice!

Michelle’s ability to tune into which poses each class participant needs and squeeze them into class astounds me. I may schlep in with tight hips or a sore back, but I always walk out relaxed and energized. She also challenges you to build muscle strength and length; listen to your body; cultivate gratitude; connect with the earth, the universe and people. Michelle’s classes both celebrate and heal your body and your mind. Amazing experiences await you. I am so glad I tried my first class almost two years ago!

I have been taking yoga classes with Michelle for over a year now. She is an amazing teacher! There's a class for everyone at Michelle Star Yoga. Yoga classes for all levels and time schedules. I also recommend the Zumba classes, taught by a Radio City Rockette, always fun!

A. Always look for a Yoga teacher with compassion and patience in addition to training and experience. The longer one practices Yoga, the deeper the wisdom.
A. Many people that practice the more aerobic forms of Yoga are unable to deepen into the poses. It takes focus and breathing into a pose to "open" the body and add flexibility. A stretched muscle is a strong muscle.
A. What prompted the teacher to study and train in this field? How did it work for this teacher, what results were achieved and what results can the consumer expect in what length of time?
