I am a photojournalist covering travel, technology, construction and real estate. If you need photos, product shots, brochures, newsletters or an entire marketing package, let me give you a quote.
I have over 25 years of international experience, shooting and writing for editorial and marketing customers - in print and on the internet. From construction documentation to promotional or editorial photos, I do them all. (No weddings - sorry) I am easy to work with, budget minded and will travel anywhere.
A. Before starting a photo shoot to advertise your product or service, it's wise to have a specific potential customer in mind. Having that certain person in mind will enable you to answer the question, "Will this photo or advertising piece be something that would make Customer X want to buy from me?"
A. With affordable digital cameras, just about anyone can take a product photo or a building photo these days. What most people don't realize is how much more can be done pre and post-shoot to make that photo outstanding. From different backgrounds to photo editing after the shot, professionals can take a photo from "nice" to "Wow."
And, just in case you didn't think about it, "Wow" is what sells your product or service. Saving a couple bucks by doing it yourself is not usually a wise choice.
A. If you are hiring a professional photographer or writer, ask for samples of work they've done on a similar project. Also, inquire if they actually did the entire project, not just "assisted" someone else.
