When you need computer repair you want no one but Jake McCann and PC Projects. I've hired Jake more than once because he is the best I've found at computer repair and computer builds. Jake's knowledge of pc's and all-things computers is vast and up-to-date and he puts that knowledge & skill to work in an efficient manner getting you back up when your pc's are down. Keep his number on speed-dial because sooner or later you'll need it!

Jake has saved my computers (and me) several times over the last few years. I have a fairly complex home and work network that are interconnected. Jake is able not only to create, maintain and service my needs at a reasonable cost, but he is also helpful in guiding me to the best buying decisions when it comes to upgrades in software, hardware and networking. I'd recommend Jake (and do) to anyone from the single computer home user all the way to the corporate IT department.

Jake has been the "backbone" of my computer knowledge so that I can manage my business more effectively through computer networking. A great deal of speed degradation issues are often caused by left-over content from the browsing of websites, the installation of new software or the downloading of other files (such as music, movies, or games). These residual files, when left untreated, can often times cause clutter from a software stand-point and will usually result in an excessively fragmented hard drive.
PC Projects recommends that you keep your computer clean from the invasion of such files by performing a Disk Cleanup on regular intervals as well as the removal of the History, Cookies and Temporary Internet Files from your browser on a weekly basis. This will help to ensure your computer has no left-over content slowing your system down and will add to the positive effects of the De-fragmentation process (which should also be performed on a weekly occurrence).
