When we had gotten our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy, we had no idea what we were getting into. After calling numerous trainers, we had chose Megan. Megan stood out with her approach to training; by focusing on positive reinforcement in a flexible way that was designed around our specific needs. Each week, Megan would work with us to determine what our dog was struggling with and what we wanted to focus on in the future. She customized each session to suit our needs and address any behavioral issues we had. In addition to helping us train our 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback, she also helped train us to know what we should be doing and why different things would achieve different responses from our puppy. After each session, Megan provided us with "homework" to do before her next visit. Throughout the entire process, we could tell that Megan truly cared for our puppy and wanted to help us learn what we should be doing. Overall, we would strongly recommend working with Megan. In addition to our 6 week obedience classes, we have chosen to have her help us work with our puppy to achieve the canine good citizen certification.

Not only is Megan incredibly afforable, but she is very patient, laidback, and serious about dogs! She has worked wonderfully with my schedule and has never scold me for having to reschedule training (I am a student). She is very patient with my corgi, Gravity, and only uses positive reinforcement. Gravity loves her! Because she is younger than a lot of dog trainers out there, I felt a lot more comfortable with her. No intimidation whatsoever. As a plus, Megan has been completely open about me texting her questions about training, problems.etc and gets back with thorough replies quickly everytime! She even writes clear, easy to read 'homework' for me after each session, so I can successfully continue Gravitys training. She is definitely be my 'go-to' dog trainer from now on!

Megan did an outstanding job when we worked together in Washington MO. She had several daily classes and a social hour called puppy play time. She's very passionate about her job and animals. Very knowledgeable, informative & end result is great!

My husband and I hired Megan to train our 1 year old dog for 6 sessions. The growth we can see from his 1st session to his last is amazing! Megan taught us so many valuable tips, and we always enjoyed practicing our homework for the next week. Megan is very patient and down to earth, and she was a joy to see every week!

I met Megan at the Wags Fest this year at Prairie Oaks and was instantly drawn to her positive calm demeanor and knowledge of dogs and training. I hit the jackpot with Megan and her training my puppy. She believes in consistent positive reinforcement and seeing the difference in my dog each week is amazing. Each week we work on a different training technique and I know I can contact Megan anytime with a question or concern and she will respond right away!
