We have hired CDS Landscaping for the past 3 seasons to do our edging, mulching , and general yard clean up. The work is high quality at a fair price. The workers are polite and professional. We plan to use them next to build a patio.

Chris and his crew delivered on time (subject to typical Ohio weather delays) and did a very professional job. The work is awesome and everyone on the crew had a great attitude (even at 8am on a cold morning). Couldn't ask for better service.

C.D.S. Landscaping built our organic garden for us last spring. They worked efficiently and so carefully while explaining every step to us. WOW! Our tomatoes were the biggest and best, as well as, the tastiest we have ever grown. I would recommend C.D.S. Landscaping to anyone! Everyone was friendly and neat. They had our best interest at heart.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. This changes throughout the season. In early spring, we do a ton of spring clean-ups and mulching. As we approach late spring and early summer we get into patio and retaining wall season. Then we wrap up the year with fall clean-ups and leaf removal. In winter we plow snow and spread salt.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When hiring any professional contractor the most important thing is references. Thanks to web sites like Thumbtack and Angie's List this is easily accomplished.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Always get several bids. It's just that simple. When you are having work done at your house the responsibility lies with you as the home owner to ask questions and do research regarding the contractors. This economy is tough on everyone, and finding the "cheapest" service provider is what we naturally want to do. Never forget it's always more costly to have to pay for the same job twice. If you have ANY reservations about your contractor's ability, then find someone else.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. When you invite someone to your home you need to feel confident that they are responsible, professional, and will get the job done on schedule. When C.D.S. Landscaping comes to your home we look you straight in the eye and shake your hand and let you know that we are the right choice. We pride ourselves on bringing you the very best in craftsmanship, and in customer service. All jobs are provided with a professional proposal and upon completion of your job we give you the opportunity to walk around your with us and make sure that you are completely satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Without question the best part about my job is leaving a property in better shape than when we arrived. Whether you are in need of a small clean up or an extravagant patio we always improve the appearance of your property. When you feel good about way your yard looks, after we've been there, it gives me great pride.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Since childhood I've enjoyed working outside with my hands. I started mowing lawns when I was 10 years old and even then I knew, this was the career for me. From 18 to 21 I worked for several different landscaping companies and gained the experience and confidence to open my own business.
