I have been an LMT in the Columbus, Ohio area for almost 13 years. I also have certification for neuromuscular therapy (trigger point). I am able to tailor the massage to the needs of the client.

Most massage I do end up being a combo of Swedish and neuromuscular techniques. My clients like my deep, thorough, therapeutically beneficial massages.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the therapist is licensed by the state medical board. Also ask if they have additional training.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Inquire about where they went to school. There are a lot of "career colleges" popping up for nursing and for massage.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask if they only offer one type of massage and if they areable to tailor the massage to your specific needs.
