Flat Rate Mover

I have over 25 years of experience in moving. I have a 16-foot Ryder moving truck with ramp, hand dolly, appliance dolly, 4-wheel piano dolly and pads.

My rates are 30.00 dollars an hour with a 15.00 dollar trip charge. And, there is a 2-hour minimum of $75.00 for those with just a few items to pick up (examples are sofa and love seat).

Or, most people prefer to settle on 1 flat rate for the entire move; that way, they know upfront what they will spend for the whole move. I accomplish most moves for 100.00 - 200.00 dollars. A basic flat rate would be 150.00 for a full truckload. For multiple flights, add 25.00, and for moves outside of 270, add 25.00.

Make your calls. Get your estimates. My rate will usually be 60-75% cheaper than the commercial movers out there! Believe me, I worked for 2 of them here in Columbus for over 20 years as an owner operator, contractor and packer.

My rate is based on 1 man and the truck. I can move most of your belongings by myself or with my dolly. I would occasionally require your help with large items such as sofas, king-size beds, and washers or dryers in the basement.
