We are two experienced teachers offering home-based childcare. Our combined experience is 30 years.

We have openings available to toddlers for our in-home childcare. Our hours are 7:30–5:30. We provide three healthy meals a day, follow a routine, have group times, and do lesson planning. You can't beat that!

We have a very large playroom that is completely for the children. Everything in there is theirs to interact with and explore. We have a separate room for eating and art activities, a nap room, as well as two outdoor options. We keep the children active and engaged in meaningful play-based learning. We believe in emergent curriculum and positive reinforcement.

We offer something truly unique, and we would love for you to come by and check us out. We're looking forward to meeting you and your family!

We have loved Bird's Nest from day 1, and now have two little ones growing up there at their home away from home. We have an extended family in the Bird's Nest staff, and I leave there every day after drop off with a smile on my face because of how much I have seen my children grow in the warm and vibrant environment of Bird's Nest Child Care.

Our daughter has been at the Bird's Nest for seven months now and we have nothing but compliments and gratitude to the staff for the care she has received. Our daughter started at 7 months old and really enjoys her day at "school." We are pleased with the healthy meals and snacks as well as the creativity in menu planning. Our daughter gets lots of one on one attention as well as the opportunity to interact in group play. We are thrilled that there is an emphasis on language development, motor skills development, and creative play. We would recommend the Bird's Nest to anyone - we have trusted them with the most precious person on Earth to us.

My husband and I have a 6 month old son and had spent months looking at various childcare options. It has only been a month, but we have been incredibly pleased with the care that the Bird's Nest staff has provided our son. He is extremely well cared for and is exposed to a wide variety of activities that emphasize social, cognitive and physical development. We are so thankful that we were able to find an in-home experience and couldn't be happier with our experience.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We stand out because we have two experienced teachers! Because of this we offer a very low ratio of 1:3. Our families get all the benefits of a traditional child care, but in a comfortable, safe, and loving home.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love taking the children's interests and growing them through lesson planning. We follow cues from the kids and expand their interest through games, books, sensory activities, songs and movement.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Our most frequently asked questions pertain to sick days and vacation days.

We actually have a fill-in teacher for days when we are too sick to work or on vacation. That means that we are only closed on federal holidays and parents can truly rely on us to be open all other days.
