- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As with other event planning companies pricing systems are complicated, that is why I offer a free 1 hour consultation to discuss your event, needs and budget. Some clients hire me to plan and manage the entire event, for which I charge a percentage of the total event cost. Other clients just need my help with part of the event, like the day-of-planner, decor, venue selections or event setup. Then I just charge an hourly rate. I strive to make your budget and my services work together.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Clients often ask me to make the event "Over-the-Top" through the decor. They sometimes have a theme, but do not know how to execute it in an event space. That is where I come in! Through brainstorming and concepting, I put together a look of the decor from the linens, floor plan, centerpieces, lighting and all the other details that will "Wow" your guests.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently my company LM Special Events, designed the event concept for the Black Tie, Blue Jackets Style Show 2014 presented by the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation. We were proud of how well the decor and lighting turned out. However what we were most proud of was being a part of an event that raised $500,000 to help fight pediatric cancer.
