Anyone who knows me knows that in my 32 years of life I have never made exercise a priority or even a routine. I contacted Jessica in the spring of 2014 because I needed help making my health a priority. From the very start, Jessica was genuinely excited to help me reach my goals – both diet and exercise. She designed workouts that challenged me, kept me motivated, and kept me interested. Before I knew it I was noticing definition in my arms. I told her, “I am starting to see a line on my arm!” My endurance was strengthening and I began looking forward to my workouts – who would’ve thought? In 21 weeks Jessica helped me lose 78 pounds! I feel a new sense of confidence, strength, and happiness. I no longer feel short of breath, weak, and overall sad. I completed my first 5k in October 2014 and it was awesome! I ran the entire first mile and a half – I have never even run a mile before! I feel excited and eager to continue my fitness journey! I have a long road ahead, but am so thankful to Jessica for helping me jumpstart my new lifestyle!

Jessica is a wonderful personal trainer! She is professional, respectful & very caring. It is obvious she really loves what she does. She's a great listener & has picked up on things I happen to say to help custom-tailor exercise routines for me. She's helped me learn how to grocery shop & cook meals for better health (actually went with me to the store!) and always offers great tips. I'm so thankful to have found her on Thumbtack :)

I can honestly say that committing to train with Jessica has been one of the best decisions of my life! In a few short months, I've lost 20 pounds of fat and a total of 14 inches, but more importantly, I've actually gained 8 pounds of muscle! The beauty of this simple fact is that I'm able to wear a whole size smaller than I did the last time I was at my current weight. Although I still have quite a few pounds to lose, I'm stronger than I've ever been and am able to do things (planks, push-ups, jogging a 12-minute mile) that I never dreamed I could, especially at my age. In the process, I've also come to realize that I'm incredibly determined and persistent, and I have so much more faith in myself - and it means so much to me that Jessica believes in me, too. She keeps me focused, and I have no doubt I will reach my weight and fitness goals!
