I have a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, 2009 (4.0 GPA). I was named Most Promising Future Faculty Member by the University of California, Irvine, based on my achievements in teaching, service, and scientific research.
I had two years of advanced educational training, as well as six years classroom experience at the college level. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish, with experience in tutoring ESL students.
