FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We prefer to not charge by the hour, but rather by the project. Our hourly rate is $40/hour, but project pricing is always cheaper and less limiting to the creative project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common types of jobs would be recording and mixing. We record and mix projects done here at MyPixo, but we also mix projects for other producers, studios, and self-recorded bands. We also offer mastering and an online mixing service where clients can upload tracks to our server. Other projects include music videos, corporate/promo videos, and post-production for YouTube shows and short films. We also manage a catalog of royalty-free audio and music that we license through MyPixo Music Publishing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Our advice is to make your decision based on a studio's previous work. Everyone mixes differently, they hear things differently, and have their own personal style/sound they get from the tools they use. Listen to their work, then make your choice of studio.
