KCook Photography is owned by nationally certified professional photographer, Kelly Cook.

Have you ever walked into a home and fell in love with the fine art portraits on the walls? Have you ever wished you could find a local photographer who could help you decorate your home with fine art portraits? KCook Photography is a boutique photography studio specializing in newborn through senior portraits. Newborn portraits and senior portraits are both special times in life you can never re-capture again.

Each appointment is custom and created to help you decorate your home, from the beginning design consultation of what to wear to what size fits best over the couch, as a collection in the foyer, and even hanging the final framed prints to how many wallets and graduation announcements you will need.

I am a nationally certified professional photographer with a degree in portraiture from the Ohio Institute of Photography. My goal is to create not only those beautiful keepsake portraits for you home, but also a memorable experience.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Senior portraits and newborn portraits are my most commen types of jobs. I also hold several family sessions on location each year.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. What kind of experience does the photographer have? How many years of experience? Do they know how to use the equipment properly and do they have the proper equipment. Do they do this as a living or a hobby on the side that they are getting paid for. Ask if they are a legal business. Those are the photographers who care about you.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Attention to detail such as lighting, pose, clothing. I make sure the child is comfortable with the session, engaged, having fun! And the final image shows this.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the feeling of creating a portrait that will become a keepsake for a family, moment in time that is not stuck on a cd or drive with an uncertain life. I love the tangible creations photography gives us.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can I get a cd with the images? KCook Photography does offer a cd of images, they are low resolution for a scrapbook or using online and as a keepsake. The reason for choosing a professional photographer is to create portrait memories of your family.
