FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unfortunately, standardized pricing in pest control is not feasible. The square footage that needs to be treated, the type and amount of pest/pests involved, equipment and chemicals needed, and other considerations figure into the final costs. So each pest control job is different, requiring different prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk to them first, and gain some idea of what their pest issue is, how much of an issue it's been, where the location of the pests are. I also need to know the square footage of the building/home, and how long they've been having problems. Then once I am on the job I like to explain exactly what I need to do, how long it will take, and give the customer advice on what they can do to prevent further issues (exclusionary measures), if applicable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the State of Ohio Department of Agriculture to apply pesticides for the control of pests. I attended school to be licensed initially, and I attend refresher courses periodically to maintain my license.
