"Reliable, trustworthy and dependable! Justin and his team at Wagner Construction were great, they were always on time and did exactly as they said they would (including charging exactly as they estimated). They had to coordinate with DP&L and they handled everything and kept me informed. I would definitely recommend."

I had some hail damage to my roof and I had many roofers that came out and just told me that I needed a new roof without giving me any detail or explanation. I called Wagner Construction and Justin Wagner came out and inspected my roof and gave me a bid for repair and told me the roof still had 10 years of life left on the roof.

I called my insurance company and they gave me a estimate that closely resembled Wagner Construction's (without seeing any of my estimates).

Wagner Construction came out and gave me a fair bid with a realistic estimate of the damages.

Then to cap it all off, they did a great job repairing my roof.

I would highly recommend them based on my experiences.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Service Upgrades and kitchen, bath and basement remodels

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Go with your gut - if there is anything that makes you uncomfortable when meeting with a contractor - don't use them. There are a lot of people advertising themselves as "contractors" who truly don't know what they are doing. Ask questions! Do they seem like they know what they are talking about?

Make sure the electrician is licensed, bonded and insured. Anyone can pretend to know what they're doing but electric is very dangerous if not done correctly. It's not worth the risk.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. If they are wanting lights put in, please know what kind you want and where exactly you want them.

If you are having electrical problems, the more you can tell us about the problem, the easier it will be to diagnose.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We do good quality work for a more reasonable, affordable price. 99% of the time we won't need to be back because things are done right the first time. If we ever did need to come back, we don't charge. It's very rare to run across a problem we haven't handled before or aren't capable of figuring out.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Everyday is different and a new learning experience. We love getting to meet new people and be able to help them with what they need. It's more than just an electric/construction career, it's a people business.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was born to do it. I love working with my hands and I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. I enjoy learning new things and even if I've done something a 100 times, you still learn something from almost every job. I enjoy meeting new people and it truly is a people business. Construction and Electric was the right direction for me... Do what you enjoy and what you're good at!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Prices vary upon what kind of service you need. However, we are usually always cheaper than the other guys!
