We are very happy with our custom banquet seating pieces. Gene listened very intently as we explained our wants for maximum seating, storage, and comfort. He considered the space we had to work with and provided valuable input for the design. While building it, he thought of our young kids and put soft close hinges on the storage bench seats, a detail we didn’t talk about ahead of time, and was much appreciated. He was responsive and punctual throughout the whole process and provided drawings and updates along the way. We were lucky there was an opening between projects and his quick turnaround allowed us to host Christmas dinner with our new seating installed.

We had Gene install baseboard trim in our house. He showed up on time, was very professional and personable, did an excellent job and cleaned up after he finished. The attention to detail under the cabinets, around a few corners and places I thought would be very challenging was incredible. We were very impressed with the quality of work that Gene did and will recommend him to anyone!

I was trying to get a custom cabinet for my Short throw projector. I had option to buy from manufacturer directly but it’s so expensive , top of that lead time is so long. Then started looking around & tried to reach out many but only Gene replied with positive approach. Finally my cabinet was built in only 2 weeks & it was perfectly made the way I wanted . What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the work description is simple, then I can give a quote for work online. However, if it is something that is more complicated, I prefer to meet with the homeowner onsite in order to provide a more accurate estimate. Examples would be older homes where current products may not fit . Or modern homes that need custom installations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with new customers and evaluate the need, understand the function and offer any knowledge or experience. Often, with these type conversations, we can refine the project need and style. Resulting in a more accurate scope of work and better cost control.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With years of experience, from residential repairs and remodels, work on historic homes, light commercial build-outs I can offer the benefit of my experience as well as ways to save money.
