The FoodSmiths Catering is a full-service operation: from weddings and cocktail parties to office lunches and executive dinners.

Depending on your budget, we can provide as little or as many of our services as you would like, from a drop-off, ready-to-eat dinner to a full-service seated meal with tabletop rentals, service and bartending staff.

Chef Gretchen takes pride in dealing with each client personally to ensure the highest quality of food and service at competitive prices.

FoodSmiths source locally from Ohio farmers, whenever possible, and search only for the best and freshest ingredients available. We are passionate about the food and services we provide, and are honored to be entrusted with such important events in our clients' lives.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The FoodSmiths Catering is a full service catering operation: from weddings & cocktail parties to office lunches & executive dinners. Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Watch out for hidden costs. We believe that gratuity should be earned and not an automatically included charge.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The first questions we ask new clients are the following.
What date or dates do you have in mind to hold your event?
How many guests do you plan on serving?
Do you have a place to hold your event picked out or would you like our help choosing one of the many facilities that we work with around the city.
Do you have an idea of what type of food you would like to serve?
We respect a wide range of budgets, do you have a budget in mind?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We talk with each client one on one to custom tailor an event to their specific needs. If you would like something not listed on our menus, just ask; we design custom menus for our clients on a regular basis.
