Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Make sure that the person performing your wedding is licensed in the state that your wedding is going to take place. Make a list of questions about their services and have all the details about your wedding with you, if possible. The Officiant should make you feel comfortable and secure with their ability to perform the ceremony you desire.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am very detail oriented, and flexible to your needs and desires for your wedding service. It's your special day, and I will do everything possible to make it the perfect day to start your married lives together.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. There is a great satisfaction that I take in being a part of the beginning of a couples new life together as one. Knowing that the couple is very happy with the services I have provided to them in helping to make their dream wedding come true!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The question most frequently asked is "what do you need from us?" The answer is: 1. A valid marriage license and ID's the day of the wedding. 2. What type of service they want, such as Religious or Non-Religious, Type of vows desired, and many more questions would need to be discussed.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Wedding Service is $200.00. Rehearsal is $50.00. That is in the central ohio area to include travel within 20 miles of the outerbelt I-270. There would be an additional trip charge for areas outside of that.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I believe that all weddings are religious in nature, so becoming ordained would be a big help in the practice of peerforming wedding ceremonies. Couples do not necessarily need to be religious to have a wedding performed, but there should be a religious commitment by the person performing the ceremony.
