- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm just getting started with this but here goes: If we're working over the internet: $20/hr - 1 hour minimum. If you need me to come over: $20 per trip under 25 miles; $30 over 25 and $30/hr after that. I don't carry many parts on me - I have fixed parts before - but if we need a part I will lead you over to a website and order something. I will show you how to install it but, if you're not comfortable with that, I'll come back over at half rate for the trip and install it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are no "latest developments" there's just different ways of hooking things up -- usually cheaper! Science, as far as I'm concerned, is at a stagnation point and has been for almost 50 years because of the business model -- only!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love puzzles. It kind of chose me.
