FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are members of both Treehouse and Code Academy -- Online instructional resources for polishing Web Development, Design and Business Skills. These two sites are ran by some of the top developers and designers in the industry and allows us to stay at the top of our game. In addition to the online schooling we constantly follow some of the top blogs in our industry. This allows for the gathering of inspiration and opens our eyes to trends we may not know about.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
It is most common to work with our clients on branding projects, advertisements and promotional material such as flyers, brochures and posters, front-end web development, content management systems such as WordPress, and email and social media marketing projects -- Just to name a few.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best honest advice I could provide for potential customers would be to enter the situation prepared to get started. This could include, but would not be limited to making sure a budget for the project is set or generating and preparing top notch content. The single most important piece of advice though... Do not wait until the last minute to start a project! Waiting until the last minute not only puts tremendous stress under the designer to perform, but it also comes with a higher chance for mistakes, miscommunication and ultimately a failed project. If the event is on the 22nd of July, try starting the project at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead of that date. Set cut-off times for approving design, and again for receiving any materials needed for the event.
