I hired Ben and his crew for a bathroom remodel. They had many good ideas. I was given a start date and a completion date. The job went over the completion but that was ok because the tile from Home Depot was back ordered. Not Ben's fault. I recommend this company.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The best advice for a homeowner is to hire an experienced professional. The handyman business is basically a free for all. There are no professional guidelines or certification requirements. That means anyone with a vehicle, a tool box and a ladder rack can be a handyman. In a weak economy with no jobs the unemployed home handyman emerges. He or she may have skills but at the least the homeowner should ask for some credentials. After all, there are good guys and bad guys in any business. Unfortunately, bad guys are not in it for the homeowner.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. In the current economy 2010-11 homeowners should be aware there are many people out of work and desperate for any kind of work, so they hang a sign on a vehicle "we fix houses." God bless them for trying.
It is a good idea to check references and insurance.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We have more than 30 years hands on experience in all areas of home repair and remodeling. Our jobs come to us on a referral basis about half the time.
We show up on time, neatly dressed in handyman attire and clean up at the end of the day. We stand behind our work and have very few callbacks.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Problem solving and saving you money. Most of our customers are grateful to have one company for all the repairs, instead of having to call a plumber, a carpenter, and a painter. Better yet, the savings for a handyman is 25-40% less than hiring the trades individually.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most common question is, "Do you repair______________?" The answer is "yes." We can repair just about anything (except HVAC). If it is not repairable it can be replaced with new or used. We keep inventory of hundreds of used parts and pieces.
