- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are customized, therefore the pricing reflects what the owner asks of me.This can be a daily visit, a vacation, a trip to the vet, or a grooming appointment. I will do extra pet waste cleanup for a fixed rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for a meet and greet first. I go over the pet's needs and personal care. I make sure that the pet parent feels good about their choosing me, so I ask them if they have any questions for me. I give them a policy page, and information sheet to fill out. I am professional when it comes to this.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended the Red Cross Pet Safety course. I have a training certificate from Ian Dunbar who believes in positive training. I look up advice from specialists like Cesar Milan, and then explore further what other trainers suggest. I have a personal friend who is a great dog trainer, whom I keep in close contact with. I volunteer at the local shelter where I attend behavior classes and keep coming in contact with new personalities. I keep in contact with members of two pet sitting groups so to learn and be more educated of our profession
