Professional face painting is an extremely colorful and fun service to add to your family event! See the delight in children's eyes as they become beautiful butterflies or great super heroes! Face painting is a hit amongst all age groups, even adults. It is a timeless art form that has captured the imagination of every culture in human history.
Amanda of Elaborate Eyes Face and Body Painting is one of northeast Ohio's premier face artists, professionally trained and insured, guaranteeing face art just like you've seen at Disney! I use only high-quality professional face paints and glitters, and keep my kit clean and consistent with industry hygiene standards. You no longer have to worry about the character of the entertainment you've hired to entertain your children; I have a clean background check and plenty of happy customers to give me a good reference!
You won't find any cheesy cheek art in my design book. All of the paintings I offer are big and colorful (unless of course something small is requested, but even then it is fabulous!). I also offer glitter tattoos, mica tattoos, and temporary painted tattoos, all lasting 3 to 5 days (with proper care) and waterproof! It's the perfect addition to pool parties where you still want to give the kids a little something more.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Birthday Parties, Company Picnics, Block Parties & Community events. I have also painted at private adult parties, halloween parties, and done individual special request makeup.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Take a look at peoples websites and the quality of their work. Is it consistant? Is there only one good picture, and the rest not so good?
Make sure they are only using professional paints and cosmetic glitters. It is important to know that these are all STANDARD industry protocol. A crafty mom volunteering at the church picnic might mean well, but using those cheap paints might mean they do more harm then good to your childs face. Not to mention craft glitters that could permanently damage their eyes!
Check their pricing information carefully: Do they charge extra to travel to your event? Do they charge you for the time they are setting up and tearing down their equipment?
More questions to ask: Are they insured? Do they have references?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I am a highly artistic and professionally trained Face Painter. I strive to constantly learn new techniques and improve my skills, as well as keep up with whats new in my industry. I am also good with children, large crowds, or small get togethers. I pride myself on the quality of my work, and I love to Wow people with how elaborate my work is. I get alot of comments about how they've never seen face painting like mine!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I LOVE face painting! It is artistic, and fun, and social. I get to work with kids, plus be creative. I love seeing the look of surprise and delight (and occasionally shock) on a child face once I've transformed them. I love that people see my work and take pictures so they can remember the experience. I paint smiles. :)
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How long have you been doing this? Currently about a year, although I've been an artist my whole life.
Where did you learn how to do this? I have attended conventions and taken workshops taught by the industry masters. Plus I love spending time at home looking for inspiration and practicing on myself.
What kind of paint do you use? I ONLY use FDA approved professional face paints, glitters & adhesives. It is very important for people to know that Acrylic paint is NOT supposed to be worn on the skin, especially not the face.
