- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for a cleaning company in 1987 at the age of 17 years old located in Dayton, Ohio. The owner of this company was and still is a great friend, he was also very wise. I learned how this business worked in a very short time and decided to venture off on my own. I have always been the type of person to take risks and as any person should know, being self employed is one of the biggest risks you can take. Marel carpet cleaning is becoming one of the biggest carpet cleaning companies in Ohio and will soon become a national franchise. I am very passionate about my line of work and meeting new customers on a daily basis has become a blessing in many ways.
