Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We do project cleaning, one-time cleaning, monthly cleaning, weekly cleaning, but our most popular choice is bi-weekly cleaning. Most people find that unless you have a large busy household, weekly cleaning may be too frequent. One the other end of the spectrum, even if you keep up on things, monthly cleans may be too far apart since dust and other debris naturally build up on their own, so bi-weekly cleans are the happy medium for most people.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do your homework. Request verifiable referrals. Check to see if they maintain a decent website. Ask to see bonding and liability documents and verify them with the listed insurance agency. See if they have a BBB account; if so, how are they rated. Take heed to any negative comments and ask the company about them.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Chances of having the owner of a larger area cleaning company cleaning your house is probably null. From day 1, the owner of We Can Do It For U meets you and your home personally to assess your needs. Even if scheduling does not permit the owner to be your personal provider, she will always be in contact via phone and email on a regular basis for quality control purposes.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like the feeling that I've truly helped make someone else's life a little easier to manage by providing cleaning services to them. This is our job and what we do - most of our customers have jobs of their own and nobody wants to work then come home and work some more. They get to do more of the things that they enjoy rather than having to do chores.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. If we are bonded and insured. The answer to both is yes. While hiring a private cleaner may seem like a bargain when compared to rates you'll pay with more established companies, don't be fooled. If anything ever happened to your provider in your home, it is your home owner's insurance that will be charged for any injuries or damages. And theft would just be your loss. Paying a few extra dollars per hour is well worth not taking any of those risks. Our rates our very reasonable and affordable. We still come in at less than the "big guys", but I guarantee the customer service and completed work will shine above the rest.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That we are a very detail oriented service and the work we put in is very labor intensive. We aren't just walking around with feather dusters; we are kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting and turning to scrub every nook and cranny clean. Housekeeping is hard work and we are appreciative when customers take notice of that and the finished results.
