Maria and her assistant were wonderful. The pictures she captured of my sister’s wedding and the baby christening were AMAZING! I keep showing off the great job she did to my friends. There are so many great photos that it’s hard to choose which ones I want to purchase.

Maria photographed my wedding this summer and did an absolutely amazing job! She agreed to do our wedding on very short notice after the first photographer we had flaked on us. She was very present, made sure to capture all of the important moments, and edited our photos beautifully. Her suggestions as we planned for the day-of schedule were very helpful - she's an expert! She was prompt, responsive, and reliable. Just what any bride would want on their day! She made sure to get shots of things I would otherwise have forgotten about in the hubbub. Maria went above and beyond! Absolutely recommend!

Had our engagement pictures taken a few weeks ago, and could not be happier with our choice. Maria met us at the park and instantly made us feel comfortable. She had previously asked for some photo samples of poses we like, and we did those right away; and then she said she was going to take over from there. We just casually walked around schiller park and she would stop us saying that would be a good spot, snap a few pictures and we would continue on our way. Very happy with the process and the pictures!! Definitely recommend Maria to anybody looking for a photographer!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is super super simple and totally fair and completely worth it!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to chat about weddings - EVERYTHING about weddings - but especially photography. I cannot help myself but I get so excited and I think I approach every wedding as though it were my own!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have some formal training in both high school and college, but for the most part I am self-taught. I have years of experience ( started in 2001 ) and I have never stopped experimenting with new ideas and the latest trends along the way! I love to watch instructional videos while I'm editing, and I probably learn at least something new every day. My husband is also a professional photographer and we are constantly bouncing ideas off one another, critiquing each other, and so forth. Photography, and especially wedding photography, is a huge part of my life!
