Introduction: I perform Custom Work that other Smaller Contractors do not or cannot perform. I consult with My Customers as to Their Need(s), then use my experience and wherewithal to accomplish Their Work. I have an extensive range of experience and skill set when it comes to Dirt Work and certain Demo Situations. If I cannot fit the Need, I have no problem telling Potential Clients that a Project is beyond My Skills or Requiring Equipment I do not have or could not Rent. I then refer to Customers to those Contractors I believe will fit Their Need if I know of them. I enjoy Working and Meeting New People and I derive Great Satisfaction in Completing Their Work.

I hired DAV Ventures to remove a large amount of dirt left behind from a pool install. He responded to the quote request quickly. I selected him to do the job and he said he would have the dirt removed within a couple days. The next day he called to confirm he could come remove it that evening. It took him four trips, but he got it all done that evening. When done, he cleaned up the yard and driveway. Overall my experience was excellent. If you need the service DAV Ventures provides, go with them. You will not regret it.

Working with Mike was absolutely fantastic. He understood our needs / wants and worked with us when we needed some opinion or guidance. He's an incredibly hard worker and I believe went over the top for our project. I'm hoping to add some before and after pictures here soon, because what we started with to where we are now is night and day. We had mounds of dirt, a torn-down and buried shed, and even bamboo taking over our backyard (previous owner.) As you can imagine, our drainage was a nightmare. We now have the makings of a great yard. Mike was personable, professional, respectful, humble and honest. I have 3 kids and they are asking when Mike will be coming back over as they loved to watch him working out the back window. I've referred Mike to anyone who mentions anything about yard drainage / grading and I can't say enough about the quality work and person he is.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not give a quote unless I physically come and Evaluate the potential Work Site. Many times Access impacts the Work Price. I have found it is much better to talk with the Client at their Work Site and discuss their Expectations. Then there are no surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to my customer's need, then ask to see the area where the work is to be performed. I do not give "Blind Quotes." I meet with the Customer and listen closely to what they want, then ask related questions. I can generally give the Customer a Price Quote on the Spot. The Exceptions to that are if I have to buy materials in an area that I am not familiar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years of Experience in Construction Related Work. If I am not familiar with a task or a work practice, I know others who do know, and am not afraid to ask.
