Dr. P.C. is the company we choose to do all our instillation services and ongoing updates to our business server. They also created software for our business that make it run much more smooth and in turn our customers receive faster service. After doing such a thorough job for our business we then chose them to do all the repairs and updating for our home computers. We highly recommend DR. P.C.

Dr. PC is wonderful. Doug of Dr. PC provides great customer service and is a wealth of knowledge. I used quite a few other services before finding Dr. PC, and the other services NEVER fixed my problem completely and couldn't be relied on to even show up except to ask for their money. Dr. PC always is able to fix my problems, shows up when he say he will, is very personable and professional. I have recomended Dr. PC to anyone in need of assistance and will continue to do so.

Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for someone who's had many years of experience in the professional IT field, testimonials from past customers, a high rating by the Better Business Bureau and a 30 day guarantee.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How many years of experience do you have working on computers? Have you ever worked in corporate IT shops where rigorous in-depth knowledge of computers is necessary? Do you perform in-home repair and at what cost? What is your Better Business Bureau rating? What guarantee do you provide for your work?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have 32 years experience with computers. This includes 15 years experience working in Corporate Information Technology departments including GE, University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve & Amtrust Bank (formerly Ohio Savings Bank). I have extensive knowledge of the following Operating Systems: Microsoft (Certified), Apple, Linux (Certified) & HP-UX.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Providing high quality service at a price that beats the competition while seeing a customer actually be happy with what was done with their computer for the price.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish all customers knew there was a better choice then the Geek Squad. I wish customers knew I have been in IT for over 3 decades and have the experince to provide the BEST solution- not just any solution to their problem. I have seen so many other 'repair shops' do such bad things to customers... it's a true shame.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. When I was 17 (1979), my mom bought us a PC. It was $3,500, had an Intel 8088 CPU, 2 5 /14" floppy drives and 256k of RAM. I never looked back and have used a compuer every day since then. I have progressively increased my knowledge until I knew enough to get a professional job in corporate IT. From there I have spent the last 15 years in IT.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. A customer had a laptop with an 80 gig drive which was partitioned into 2 40 gig drives. Of course, the partition the Operatin System was on filled up. The customer spent most of her time trying to clear data off the C: drive just so she could use the laptop. I 'ghosted' the C: drive, backed up the E: drive and replaced the drive with a 360 Gig drive. Then I ghosted the data back. Now she has here exact system but all on one partition with tons of free space. She's very happy and all was done at her home. She didn't have to drive one single mile.
