I have used Thumbtack numerous times and am usually satisfied with the quality of work I get from the contractors I've hired off this site. This particular hire was so outstanding that I decided to take the time to provide feedback. Before putting out a request on Thumbtack for a contractor to build an extremely complicated kitchen free standing cabinet with a thousand pieces that two other family members had previously attempted (unsuccessfully) to put together, I called several local guys i found on Google. At their request I sent pics of the specs and both guys came in at $500 and higher to build this cabinet. I only paid $280 for it on Amazon so didn't want to spend twice as much to have it built if I didn't have to. As a last ditch effort, I put out a request for a contractor to build this on Thumbtack. Kaleb was the first to respond via a phone call. He was able to do the work that same day. He charged me less than a third of what others quoted me. He was done in 2 hours for what we thought would be a day long effort. Pics of this huge piece are attached to include the final product after Kaleb was done. We learned when he was here that he is a jack of all trades so not only do we have him already lined up to install an over the stove exhaust unit, we now have a reliable, professional, honest, hard working, super nice handyman who can do just about everything! Kaleb has earned our highest recommendation!!

KB construction helped me to move a commercial treadmill to my home. The staff at the gym where we picked it up from were concerned that the 2 person team couldn't handle in on their own, but they did. They were careful and courteous and I would recommend them.

For moves we get the customer to book the truck and from their we offer the option for them to drive it and we follow behind or we offer driving as well as the load/unload making everything as easy and smooth as possible with as little effort from the customer as possible.

Working with a general contractor straight out of high school and getting a ton of experience in many different fields.
