FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photography. I simply love taking pictures. It started out as a hobby, became an obsession, and finally evolved into a profession. I figured as much time as I spent on photography, it was something that I should do professionally, and at the same time benefit others, besides just those in my family.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'm not sure people realize the amount of time that is put into producing a quality portrait. It's not simply a matter of buying an expensive camera and lens, and then pressing a shutter button. Before that can even happen there is a lot of knowledge and many principles that need to be applied: apertures, lighting, shutter speeds, composition, etc. Then after the photo is taken, hours can be spent cropping, color correcting, light balancing, sharpening and often special effects. This all makes another point: For quality portraits, it's important to hire a competent professional.
