Backwoods Wildlife Control is your local wildlife expert, and we are commonly called upon to control and remove armadillos, bats, birds, beaver, cats, coyotes, chipmunks, deer, fox, geese, gophers, groundhogs, mice, moles, muskrat, opossum, pigeons, pocket gophers, rabbits, raccoons, rats, skunks, non-poisonous and poisonous snakes, squirrels, sparrows, starlings, swallows, turtles, and woodpeckers. Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Removal of Numerous different Wildlife from Attics and Crawl spaces of a home and/or business. Then cleaning and disenfecting the area to ensure diseases are eraticated.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Ensure the Nuisance Wildlife Control Professional is on-time, courteous, licensed, and insured. Ensure The Nuisance Wildlife Control Professional is educated in Wildlife Diseases complete.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would like to know what bait catches what nuisance animal. Then what the best traps there are to use with particular animals
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Is the NWCO licensed? (Not all states require licenses, so check your state’s division of wildlife before asking).
Ask for references.Consult with your state’s Environmental Police and Department of Natural Resources. Ask them who they recommend in your area. Press them for an unofficial statement.
Years in wildlife control business? Full time or part-time? This question is not to be confused with how many years in the Pest control business. Controlling insects is very different from controlling wildlife.
Were you provided a variety of control options? Exclusion, trapping, eviction, habitat modification or maybe even suggesting that nothing be done? How does his/her recommendations compare with those suggested by the Prevention and Control of Wildlife Damage? Understand that sometimes the NWCO doesn’t present you with a variety of options because you already gave him specific instructions. Don’t be angry at the NWCO if he does what you tell him. If you want to double check, ask him if there are other possible solutions than the one you asked for?
Better yet, ask the NWCO if there are other control options than what he/she suggested.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Buyers should know that sometimes the easy way out is not the best solution to the nuisance animal problem. There are many steps and things that must be considered when removing and completely keeping the nuisance animal or nuisance wildlife out for good. Buyers should understand that it is a process that can take days and time to correct, from removing to habitat modification, exclusion, and possibly even damage repair and complete restorations.
