- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is pretty simple. I have a package for a PC-Tune-Up that usually runs around $89.95. I help people buy computers and have a $125 package that allows me to completely set up a new machine, do all the updates, AND..spend time showing the client how to use the computer. I even come back about a week later for no additional charge to make sure they're happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning. Trends are toward greater changes in shorter time frames. Being able to know how to help a client keep their older machines relevant and cost effective is important. You just can't learn enough these days.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw a great need for every day people to have someone they could trust to help them with their computers. Someone who would come to them, be honest and treat their computers with great respect. I hated seeing elderly people being taken advantage of by hucksters and cheats.
