Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: No job too small: We know that patience is key when providing services to customers that might not fully understand the problem they are having. We do not speak "Greek" and we do not expect you to speak "Computer!" Even if it's something that may seem like a small problem or quick fix to us, it may be the difference between you using your computer or not being able to. There is no job that's too small, we can help... give us a call! We drive OR you drive: Many computer problems can be a product of the environment. If you have problems with your internet, it may be related to your network hardware and not your computer. A bad battery backup or surge protector may make your PC not power on. Even something as simple as a USB drive in your computer can make your PC not boot correctly. That is just a few examples of many scenarios that will make your computer not work at your desk HOWEVER if you bring it in for repairs or troubleshooting, as soon as we turn it on it will work just fine! That is why we like to come to YOU to fix your problems. The best part is, there is no additional fees for onsite service or pickup and delivery! There are some cases where that is definitely not the case or you simply wish to bring the computer to us for ease of schedule or even for privacy reasons. Bring the computer to us! We have a computer drop off location in West Tulsa (near 51st and Union) and more locations coming soon. See our website for more information: computertrendz.com Expertise: There are a lot of computer "experts" out there, it's hard to find a well rounded company that can get you the truly best solution instead of just the solution they are used to providing. Computer Trendz has several years experience in solutions ranging from custom programming, network design & maintenance, IT support, hardware & software support, laptop & desktop repairs, virus removal and much much more. Visit computertrendz.com for a full list! References available! Remote Assistance: We can offer remote assistance to distant customers or customers that wish to save time on something that can be fixed over the internet with a remote connection. We have removed viruses in other states and retrieved DVR video's to customers in other cities that needed it immediately. We have also performed software troubleshooting remotely for customers that needed it right away or at a specific time outside of business hours. Competitive Rates: $25 for hardware installation/upgrades $65 flat rate for virus removal $65/hour for desktop/laptop support What differs us from the competition is our partial hour rate. Most companies have a minimum charge of 1 hour with 1 hour increments. If a repair is significantly under an hour we charge $35 for the visit and if we work 1.5 hours we will not bill for 2 hours, we bill for 1.5! If it was something easy or "silly" that took 5 minutes to resolve we don't charge for the visit! Paperless SRs and Invoicing: We keep all of our service requests, invoices, and customer notes online and AVAILABLE for the customers online. When a new service request or a new invoicie/receipt is created, you are emailed a link that only you can access where you can see all of the details of the work performed as well as your invoices and other service history from our website. If you have the link (or username/password) for your service request, you can log in and check the status and notes of your service request. You can even request service online! If you go to computertrendz.com you can click Request Service and fill out your information and a new ticket will be created. You will be contacted very shortly (we get paged) to schedule your service. No other local company offers this! Guided Computer Builder: Another addition to our paperless system described above, we have an online computer system builder. If you are in the market for a PC, you should consider getting a computer built for you. Don't know exactly what you want or need? Our online system builder is GUIDED every step of the way, providing our recommendations on each part through the entire configuration process based on how you will be using the computer. The prices are very competitive and unlike Dell or HP or Apple the parts are not proprietary. This is important because at the off-chance you have a problem with the hardware past the warranty period, it will be very easy to fix. Many (many!!) Dell, HP, and Apple products (and other manufacturers that use proprietary parts) outside of warranty are replaced and not fixed simply because the parts are very hard to find and when you can find them they are expensive and must be ordered through the manufacturer. Don't be caught in this trap!

Rasoul Ezzat-Ahmadi went to my mother-in-law's home to set up her wireless network and show her how to use her iPad. He was kind, patient, and competent. I highly recommend him. He really gave her a lot of help for my money.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

For homes & small businesses the most common type of jobs we get are Virus Removal and Windows troubleshooting. Others include wireless network setup, laptop LCD replacement, and laptop AC jack repair. For businesses the most common type of job is network setup, support, and maintenance. This includes scheduling and verifying backup systems, setting up and configuring firewalls, email servers, web servers, and domain controllers. We also do a lot of data and phone cabling (cat5 and cat6) as well as coax cabling for video security systems.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the service provider company can answer questions about your problem before you take it in. Be as descriptive as possible when explaining the problem to make sure they have the ability to fix the problem before giving them your unit. Also beware of overpriced check-in fees and minimum repair costs. Many of the major "geek" chains will quote an hourly rate but after a 1 hour minimum plus a check-in fee (that can cost more than an hour of service) you will pay around $140 minimum whether they can help you or not for a job you can get done elsewhere for $65.
