    Gary has been training my husband for a year now and he has motivated him to transform his life from depressed and obese to fit, happy and inspired to stay the lifestyle! Gary is our angel who is patient, kind and peaceful and just what the Dr ordered for de- stressing my husbands very demanding job and life. Wonderful trainer with new and no nonsense approach. It worked and still is! We love him!!!

    Having been inactive for over a year, I was very nervous about working out--especially with an in-home personal trainer! Gary provided me with valuable guidance and motivation to get started. His plan is customized and presented in a manner that builds self confidence. The variety of excercises makes the workout fun and GETS RESULTS!! I HIGHLY recommend Gary Barnes to anyone wanting to get fit and healthy!!!

    Gary is a very intelligible and friendly trainer, but also keeps you on track and helps you by giving you friendly advice and answers any questions. And the fact that he is willing to travel where you are makes him a top choice. I go to a free gym and he is willing to travel there for me and meet me on my terms. Add that he is an actual AFFORDABLE trainer and there is no reason why you shouldn't at least try him out for yourself. Definitely won't be sorry! I would recommend him to anyone that is serious about wanting to learn a few things about there health and what they can do to live healthier lives.

  • We just returned from the Achieve Fitness USA National Confernece in Las Vegas where we were personally trained by Leslee Bender on the Bender Method of Core Training. It is great for post rehab recovery and for injury prevention. We also met Peter Twist of Twist Sport Conditioning. Peter was named trainer of the year at the IDEA conference. I am a Bronze Level Coach with Twist and working toward becoming a Master Level Coach. We combine all of these training methods to customize workout plans for our clients. We do in-home personal training in Oklahoma City, Edmond, Moore and Norman. We also train at AnyTime Fitness in Moore, Oklahoma and Four Star Fitness in north Oklahoma City.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I help people lose weight, build muscle, and get healthier. I offer personal fitness training and specialize in working out with my clients in the comfort and convenience of their home. Achieve Fitness also offers corporate wellness, boot camps, and group workouts at various places in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Customized workout schedules and advice on diet/nutrition are included in all of our programs.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I create a customized plan for my clients to achieve their fitness and health goals. I have expertise not only in fitness training but also in diet and supplementation. I am an instructor for International Sports and Fitness Association and also a Bender Methods Master Trainer. I also specialize in functional and post-rehab training.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy helping people achieve their fitness goals. It gives me great pleasure to see people improve their fitness levels, feel better and gain confidence in themselves.
