II remember the first time I was asked to attend boot camp by Tommy’s wife Dana, I thought there was no possible way I could ever do something like that. I was invited to attend at least 10 times before I finally accepted her offer. I was 48 years old and was a breast cancer survivor of 3 years.
To this day Tommy will tell you I did the worst push up of anyone he has ever seen. Breast cancer had robbed my upper body and entire physique of any muscle tone. As Shannon said in her testimony the classes ranged from physically fit people to people like me who really needed another chance in life. Tommy is the sweetest person and an incredible trainer, and with his encouragement and the support of my fellow boot campers (which is SO very important) I returned every time the doors opened.
The first thing I noticed was changes in my spirit. I adapted a can do attitude that has followed me since and then there were changes my weight and then suddenly my body was taking shape! I was floored when I realized that my back and arms were completely toned. That was over two years ago and I am still an avid member of his boot camp and will be until he shuts the doors. I also train with him twice a week and my body is not a machine.
Since then I have achieved things that I never thought possible. Not only do I have the record for the longest plank held in our boot camp (12 minutes) I also became a cyclist, riding anywhere from 50 to 60 miles a week with the greatest group of boot campers you will ever meet! Not bad for a 50+ year old woman who survived breast cancer and couldn’t do a pushup to save her life.
I cannot stress how much Tommy has helped me and so many others just like me. So what are you waiting for, the doors are still open. See you there. :->

Tommy and his bootcamps have absolutely changed my life. I had never worked out (other than the dvd's I would "watch" in my livingroom) in my life. At 40 years old I decided to try bootcamp and I stumbled upon Tommy via an internet search. I stumbled well. I was nervous about going because I was so ridiculously out of shape and didn't think I would be able to keep up with the class. And guess what...I didn't keep up because I was so ridiculously out of shape but guess what...it was ok. Every fitness level imaginable was there. Some people had been attending bootcamp with Tommy for over a year and I remember watching them and knowing that I would never be able to be that strong and in shape. I was wrong. The cool thing about Tommy is that he pushes you and encourages you and before long....you keep up. His classes are designed for all fitness levels in an incredibly positive environment. I can remember the first time I held my plank for 60 seconds. And I remember my first push up. And I remember the first time I saw my tricep (it was hiding under about 4 inches of fat). I have been going to bootcamp with Tommy for almost a year now and I still leave the classes dripping in sweat and I still get sore and I wouldn't have it any other way. I did my first triathlon at 41 years old. I could have never done that prior to attending bootcamp with Tommy. There are lots of trainers and "bootcamps" out there but Tommy was voted favorite trainer in OKC for a reason. He is an amazing trainer who designs classes that are somehow different every single time and they continue to push me and make me stronger. But, more than that - he wants to see his "students" succeed. He celebrates our successes and calls us out when needed. I can absolutely, with no hesitation, recommend Tommy to anyone looking to make themselves stronger and healthier than they've ever been He offers great training in a supportive environment with lots of laughs (and occasional groaning).
