- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly virus removal and data recovery. I do offer support for Microsoft products including Windows/Office/Server systems, as well as Linux and Apple Computers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Avoid Bestbuy like the plague for computer repair services! Call ANYONE else!! When you go into a computer repair shop, store (BestBuy) you are, in essence, a "Sale". You're 10x more likely to be diagnosed with "bad" hardware, such as a hard drive or motherboard. You're 20x more likely to pay for unnecessarily services. Much of the boxed security software pushed on you is inferior. (Norton/McAfee/Webroot) Your "technician" is likely to be 18-25 years old, and under pressure to sell un-needed products and services. Often salesmen are under great duress to sell products (computers, software, accessories, hardware components), and services (repairs, data recovery, software installation,etc). Use common sense and and find a reliable Independent computer tech... like BeyondOKC!
