Drafting: this is not only the field wherein I have a degree; it is also my great passion. The only aspect of construction I take great satisfaction in, aside from framing, is working with the client to design the home of their dreams and then seeing the happiness of that client as their dreams are materialized. "Oh, that's better than I imagined," fuels me in this profession. Framing: As mentioned above, I take great satisfaction in my framing. Building a home using your very own hands and then seeing it come alive through the years bring a very rewarding feeling. I love that I can take my children (and future grandchildren) to a home that daddy built. I also love construction challenges. I thrive on framing challenges such as in building dome ceilings, round walls, barrel ceilings, multiple wall heights, elaborate staircases and round roofs are just among the challenges that I have met with exacting craftsmanship and excellent quality. If something can be built made of wood, I can do it. Custom Staircases: This is the construction specialty that I love most. This is not exactly included in the scope of framing so I'm listing it separately. Even skilled carpenters are challenged by staircase construction because of the challenges they present in terms of advance mathematics, precision, layout and 3D visualization. These are the skills that top carpenters have. This is why I like doing stairs construction, so that I can exercise my skills so that they won't become dull. I know that there is an old saying about how some people are simply the Jack of all trades but a master of none, but even if there are some items/skills listed here, I assure you that these tasks are performed with the same skills set. I do not offer services that are far beyond my talent or capacity to perform. As an example, although I understand the basics of plumbing, I will not perform any plumbing services for you. The design, framing and construction of staircases, however, complement one another. I believe that to do a really professional job at each of the task, the contractor must have all the skills even if he will not use them all. If a house contractor doesn't know everything involving building a house, then how can he assure you that he is building a strong home for you? How can a designer see the potential problems of a project if he never had an experience coordinating the installation of the different home components. I could go on, but through the examples above, you can already see how having a combination of the above skills will make your project go smoothly. Even if you only need me for to work on one particular area, I still have the experience for all of them. I will use my skills and experiences to help make your dreams come true.
