Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My goal as an instructor is to give my students the tools necessary to surpass my skills and knowledge. This is fortunate for my students because I have great amounts of both. I earned my bachelor's degree in guitar performance, my master's in jazz studies, and have experience performing hundreds of gigs all over the country. I love having the opportunity to share the gift of music with others. It has brought me great joy to learn it's secrets, and it brings me even greater joy to help someone else find their way into music.

I have been receiving guitar lessons for 2 months now, and I am seeing great improvement. He is a great teacher, who is knowledgable in music theory and makes things easy to understand.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a bachelors degree in guitar performance and a masters degree in jazz studies: music production. I continue to hone my craft on guitar, violin, and mandolin through various studies and practice.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Typically students request taking weekly half hour lessons. Most of my students are guitar; however I also have a slew of piano and violin students.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Finding someone you gel with is key. You could find someone who is a very skilled musician, but if they cannot relate that information well, it is of little help to the student. Avoid instructors who only teach you songs but not how to figure out the songs for yourself.
