I had a leak on my balcony and worked with many so called "professionals" for several years and no one could fix the leak that had just ruined the ceiling to my garage ...I put out thousands of dollars to no avail. Then along came "Chuck" (McMakin Construction) and he carefully looked over the situation .. carefully planned out everything he wanted to do. He knows what needs to be done and does it . It took a week or two to complete the job but he wanted to make sure it was done right. After two years I have not had a drop of water in my garage and I am so sorry I had not know of McMakin Construction before I used so many who could not do a good job and I just wasted my money using them.

Chuck McMakin/McMakin Construction does superior work. He came highly recommended. He completely gutted our hall bath, then remodeled it from the ground up. Chuck was in contact with me(Heather)/us every day to make us aware of the progress completed and forthcoming. His knowledge and eye for detail truly shows his professionalism. Example: Chuck laid down the floor tile in a pattern that he suggested due to the brown and beige fading color designs. He called/left message that he wanted us to view it that evening, then call him back with a yeh or nay. Of course, it looked great. (He also did this for the shower tiles, and fixtures.) -Written estimated time: 4-5 wks; acutal: 3 wks (09/26/11-10-14-11) -Pricing/Costs: very competitive This was our first remodel project, so being as involved as we were was such a blessing. We had many questions along the way, but Chuck was always there to answer them, or a call-back was never more than 10-20 minutes away. We highly recommend him. (Chuck, also, applied tar around our outside chimney, on 11/14/11, which stopped a 2-year leak.)

I've known Chuck for over 10 years. Have hired him for several projects, including plumbing, new garage door opener and interior painting. Every project has been done in a timely manner and at a fair price. He's honest and dependable. Will definitely hire him again in the future.

We hired Chuck to complete a remodel on our Brookside home and he did a phenomenal job. He planned and bid each job thoroughly to avoid cost overages and unplanned delays. Once started, he showed up when he said he would and was meticulous about his work. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and trustworthy contractor.

Word of mouth and viewing completed workmanship led to a great find. McMakin did wonderful tile work for me. It was done as I requested in a timely fashion with professional results. I highly recommend him.

    I would advise the customer to do a little research on the providers history with internet services and BBB. Ask for references and follow up by calling them. And finally make sure you fell comfortable working with the individual.
