As a Liscensed Massage Therapist the sevice I provide is healing for mind body and spirit. Normally when you receive a massage the focus is on the muscles and the diagnoses of different ailments going on in ones body. I focus there I just take it one step further. I present you with a questionaire that ask you about your habits and what u do for yourself. from there we develope a plan that consists of you doing things for yourself that you would not normally do. One of the questions that are asked is if you had only 30 days to live what would you do in those 30 days. The cleint provide the answer and we make a plan from there. the appointment that is set for 30 days out you come back in to tell me the things that you have accomplished in those 30 days. At this point a lot of people reconnect with God, with old friends, etc. I also provide free 1hr massage to all elderly people over the age of 50 once a month this service can be received up to twice a year provided the space is available. In that massage you receive same quality of service as if you have paid. I also focus on your emotional state of being. In with that a questionaire is presented to client and client answers a series of questions and a plan from their is provided for client to follow and report on next visit all visits are set out for 1st timers two weeks apart and after that weekly or biweekly. We offer training in stretches for optimizing the esperience of the massage, we offer weekly excercice classes that can be attended by client for regular health maintenance, we offer posture instruction in walking and sleeping to help optimize daily life of the clients health. We also offer a Belly Dancing training that helps to liberate the client that has endured some low self esteem problems in their past and some that just needs to be liberated after a break up in a relationship or divorce or for a bridal shower or just some let's get together me and the girls time. We do all of this with the focus of the woman being healed in a Holistic way. we also offer healthy eating eating to live and stay healthy. We also offer individual therapy for the man also those those that has some emotional wounds that has not been addressed their is a support system offered in that we keep families together we provide the therapy needed for the husband and the wife to have a healthy marriage and the children to have a healthy home. We support the family unit. We beleive in keeping families together. Therapy is provided at all sessions for whole family. I like the relationship building part of my Job. I do not just give you a massage. I get to know you as that is a very important part of truly receiving your healing through massage. I like the outcome of a woman coming back after she has done her 30 day reflection and has done something for herself that she has not done in years even if it is just standing up for herself. or going to the movie to see the healthy glow from her face because emotionaly she has made a milestone in her life. or just seeing the beleif in one self after they have researched for a trip that they thought they would never be able to afford but just because they have put forth the effort they now have a plan some goals and know that they can reach that goal. and because of that begin to reach more goals and make more plans. Branch out and create different avenuse to reach those goals. That's what brings me the greatest joy to see healing come forth. Even healing in the body for the client to leave refreshed revived for the pain to be relived and a feeling of being able to finish out that work week they thought they would'nt finish.
