Michael wasn't the cheapest price in town but I truly believe you get what you pay for. I hired him to remodel a bathroom which turned out wonderful! Love it! Through conversation, I learned that his expertise is high-end security solutions. I had him purchase and install cameras around my home that are very high quality. I love that I'm able to see what's going on at my home from my cell phone. I can even adjust the temperature and lighting in my home remotely. Not only does he do a great job, but he cleaned up after the work was completed. I'm so used to workers leaving a huge mess, I was very pleasantly surprised by that added touch. I would highly recommend Michael!

DO NOT hire this man for electrical work. His quote seemed very fair and he was very friendly. He quoted us for 2-3 hours with a max of 5 hours. On the day he was completing the work, I text him at 5 hours because I had not heard from him, he said maybe 30 more minutes, I was fine with that. 3 hours later he was still working. So not only were we way over what he quoted, we also had issues with several of the things we did. The two way switches in our living room weren't working so he came back out to fix that on his own time, which is working now but still not correctly. We had another service tech come out to do some other work in our attic, and found that the air vent was crushed right in front of where they had been doing the electrical work (whether this was their fault or not I'm not sure, but the tech said if looked like they had laid on the air vent). Also, the 220v outlet that was installed wasn't even wired correctly. We were so tired of all of the issues that my husband just fixed this himself. I kindly text him to let him know for further jobs he did, and I did not even get a courtesy reply back.
Others say he might be great at remodeling, but DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR ELECTRICAL!

Whatever you do, do NOT use this man. He is a liar, thief, and a convicted criminal who defrauded innocent citizens in Kansas of over $600K. Simply type "Michael Betzel Tulsa" into Google search and an article on his massive ponzi scheme will be the first result. He will take your money and not pay subcontractors. He will lie to your face about the progress of your project and then yell at you when you ask him why things are not happening and why people are not getting paid. He even fraudulently represented himself as a representative of our company on contracts to try and get out of paying subs. His crimes are so serious that we are in the process of working with the local authorities. Again, whatever you do, avoid this man at all costs. He has multiple company names: Insight Handyman Services, OK Protect Me, Inc., Guardian Knight Security, Inc.

My experience with Michael Betzel and his employees couldn't have been better. Mr, Betzel was courteous, punctual and professional from our first meeting until my job was concluded. His pricing was very fair and the quality of work was outstanding. I would recommend Michael Betzel without hesitation.
