Survey findings and summary
Thumbtack.com, in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, has released the new results from the second annual Thumbtack.com Small Business Survey. The 2013 study draws upon data from over 7,000 small business owners nationwide and shows that Oregon earned a 'C+' for overall small business friendliness, down slightly from last year's 'B' grade.
Some of the key findings for Oregon include:
- Oregon small business owners gave the state an 'A+' for its networking and training programs.
- Among major cities nationwide, Portland received a 'B-' overall, repeating its grade from 2012.
