I worked with Ed on a large video production for a few months. Ed did the main editing work with the greenscreen video and gave me the finished cuts to add motion backgrounds and special effects to.
Ed was a pleasure to work with and a true professional. The hours were long and the stress level was high, but he was always smiling, making great decisions and really provided a lot of help and direction for the client during the editing process. A real thinker and director as I watched him help the client build their story and put together the hours and hours of content they had filmed into a great final product.
Ed's technical skills are top notch as he was able to give me his edits in the complicated format I needed for the effects work I was doing. He was also to give me other 'filler edits' at a later time that fit into my work flow seamlessly. Really knowledgeable about Final Cut, hardware and workflows. His input and ideas in designing the overall workflow we used for this complicated project were what helped make it all come together.
Truly a great problem solver, editor and thinker. A great asset to any production or project. I hope to work with him again.
