My passion for photography started as a senior in high school, and truly bloomed after I graduated in 2008 from Portland State University. With a Nikon on my back, and a degree in communications, I started Amber Hempen Photography.

I typically shoot in a more photojournalistic style to capture the genuine emotion of the moment. This interprets beautifully to weddings and other celebratory instances. Lately, I have commenced to grow my portfolio with posed model shoots, band promos, and portraits.

What I love about photography is discovering beauty in the humblest of details. I also enjoy to make people glad, and capturing felicitous memories is a true delight, and easily the best portion of what I do.

A. It's all about getting your images on a dvd/cd with reprint rights, I say this becuase ya, you could get a bunch of print credit but the photographer is charging you 25 bucks for an 8x10 and their cost is under 5 bucks, so even if it seems crazy expensive always opt for the disk, you can get the prints and books your self for 1/2 the price!
