A. Don't be stuck on price. Look for value. Interview as many doulas as you are able and choose the one who's skills and personality resonate with you.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. As about training and don't be hung up on certification. Often those without actual certification have just as much knowledge. Also if money is an issue ask about bartering, payment plans, or trade.

A. Ask about training, skills, specialties.
Give them a response of yes or no once you've reached your decision.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Why am I hiring a doula. What do I expect the doula to do for me. How am I prepared to pay for her services?
