I have completed over 7,500 error-free loan closings. I am a certified signing agent with the National Notary Association, commissioned in Oregon and Washington.

I am seasoned with 33 years of experience with all different types of mortgage loan programs as well as legal documents (power of attorney, affidavit, will documents, deed of trust, divorce and adoption certifications).

I am serving several counties, namely:

* Washington (Aloha, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Sherwood, Tigard)
* Multnomah (Portland, Milwaukie, Raleigh Hills, Gresham)
* Clackamas (Lake Oswego, Oregon City, Tualatin, West Linn)
* Yamhill (Newberg)
* Columbia (St. Helens, Scappose)
* Marion (Salem)
* Clark (Vancouver)

I have a subtle skill of putting clients at ease and making the signing process pleasant and personable. I believe it is very important to arrive on time, dress in business attire, and portray professionalism and courtesy during all signings.

I will do whatever is necessary to ensure all aspects of the transaction are completed successfully.

I believe the key to my success is having a flexible schedule that allows for last-minute, friendly, 24/7 mobile notary service.

I am rated as one of the best local mobile notary services.

    I highly recommend Val as a Mobile Notary. I called her on a Saturday morning and she came right over to help us. Val was very friendly and her fees seemed very reasonable. She did a great job! Jack

    Val and Dave are great. I have used them a lot for notary services. They are friendly and professional. I have never had an issue with any of the documents they have notarized for me. They have lots of years of experience and understand mortgage documents and how important customer service is. Use their services, you won't be disappointed.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My most common types of jobs come from escrow officers and banks. I see mostly mortgage refinancing and home purchases in my line of work. However I do a fair amount of Power of Attorneys and wills also.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for someone who has many years of experience and be sure to ask for referrals. Notarized documents can be easily rejected by the State if there are any errors. You want a notary that knows what they are doing and one who is detail minded and double checks their work for accuracy.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Valid ID to show the notary

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I'm very careful to double check my work every time for accuracy.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Helping people

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Is this your full time work?

Yes, this is my little niche in the world.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A clients cat curled up in my briefcase and went to sleep.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I followed in my Fathers footsteps. Dad worked in Title Insurance from 1958-2000. When he retired as Vice President of Fidelity National Title.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. It really helps to be in the real estate business for several years. It takes many years to build a good reputation and gain enough referral business to sustain your business.
