- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Especially for your wedding day, what ever you do make sure you have a day-of coordinator. On this day the only thing you should be doing is getting married to the person you love. Let someone else stress about all the details. And be sure the person you hire is excited for you and looks to enjoy his/her job.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Weddings? Parties? People would say "I can do that myself, I don't need a Planner. I don't need to give my money away to someone who does what I can do my self." I used to think that way too. Until I saw what really goes into a wedding or party. What comes along with fun planning is stress. Who haven't I called? What is left? The party is tomorrow and I have unexpected guests! The baker just backed out! These are all things you should NOT have to deal with when planning the most fun and memorable days of your life. And when it comes to money, it may cost a little bit to hire someone to help, but it is completely worth every penny to allow you to party with your guests instead of being the frazzled host. Yes, I do charge, but the charge is a small amount. This is because I enjoy the planning, organizing, and most of all seeing everyone have a great time. I want to be behind the scenes taking care of those last minute chaotic moments, so you and your guests don't have to. I want you to remember that party where you were on the dance floor instead of in the kitchen cooking, or on the phone with the DJ because you didn't have music. I make all those hairy details disappear so you can have the time of your life.
